Water and patience, pressure and time
On Wednesday night, I drove Robbie to the airport. South on Jameson, he remarked that he often forgets that Toronto sits on a lake. It is so easily forgotten. It really was a great sight that late afternoon. Too cold for boats and too warm for ice, the water look undisturbed.
On my way back into the city, I stopped by the boardwalk to absorb this part of the city I rarely take the time to appreciate. The cold wind cut my stroll short but I managed to take some photographs before I retreated into my car and back into rush hour traffic. I'm no Annie Leibovitz or Ansel Adams but it sure is nice to bring my camera everywhere again.

Nice pic. Peaceful, yet lonely.

I don't know if it's just the hermit in me speaking, but this is beautiful to me.

good music:o) I'll have to take you down to the Humber Bay Butterfly Habitat this summer - that's where I was working when I did the gardening with Evergreen last summer.
You feel like you're a world away from the city, but you can still see the CN Tower just across the lake. It's just gorgeous with all the birds and flowers, and if you're lucky the beavers will make an appearance!

Pancakes...? Is it another Indie Rock Tuesday with pancakes?
I'm up for it, but maybe Wednesday.
